Coaching is about supporting people to create clarity and realise the potential within themselves. A coach walks alongside the client through their journey, helping to create manageable actions to move them towards their overall goal.
Coaching will help people get from A-B perhaps quicker than they would on their own by asking insightful questions and using coaching models that have a certain amount of simplicity attached to them.
The sessions are generally 60 minutes long, although this can be amended upon request, and are carried out over Zoom.
To begin a coaching relationship, we would first hold a Coaching Discovery Session where we would get to know each other and talk about what you hope to get from your coaching sessions.
The following sessions will then follow a flexible 6 step process:
1. Reviewing of the previous session actions
2. Talk about your overall goal and the manageable stepping stones that you could take
3. Discuss the reality of the situation for you and gain a deeper understanding
4. Consider all ideas and options, including challenging your current way of thinking
5. Shape the way forward and what you are going to commit to doing
6. Conclusions from the session
You can expect to be asked questions.
You can expect to be listened to in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
You can expect to be challenged in your current way of thinking to find the paths that make you feel more aligned with aspects of your life.
You can expect to fundamentally change your current thinking about certain challenges, locating unhelpful thought patterns and discovering a more resourceful state.
You can expect to discover manageable steps and agree some actions to move you from where you are now to where you want to be.
